Ambassador Dr Deepak Vohra is an Indian diplomat, who serves as the Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of India, Kingdom of Lesotho, and Guinea-Bissau. Graduating first in his batch in the Indian Foreign Service class of 1973, Mr Vohra was India’s senior-most Ambassador.
He has served in France, Vietnam, Tunisia, United States, Nigeria, Cameroon, Benin, Chad, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Spain, Armenia, Georgia, Sudan, Poland and Lithuania.

Maxton R. Scotland is from a cosmopolitan West Indian and British background with a passion for youth development and youth voices being heard. A veteran, Maxton believes that the increase in global interaction means that it is necessary for young people to be equipped with the necessary skills to navigate around the cultural and ideological challenges, which invariably arise. He can be found travelling the world addressing youth challenges at all levels.

Nabila Jamshed is an international security and global governance professional currently working with the United Nations. Nabila’s career in the United Nations began with the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, where she worked as a Political Affairs Specialist. With a Master’s degree in Global Governance and Diplomacy from the University of Oxford, Nabila joined the OPCW during the organisation’s work on chemical disarmament in Syria, for which it was later awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Shastri Ramachandaran is an author, independent journalist – editor, writer, columnist – and editorial & publications consultant working for media in India, China and Europe for over 30 years. Among other positions, he is Consulting Editor, Indian Council of World Affairs, Sapru House, New Delhi; member of the Editorial Board of IDN-InDepthNews and INPS-International Press Syndicate, Berlin; and, Contributing Editor, The Citizen (India’s first independent online daily).

Mr. Sourav Kothari is the World Number 2 Billiards and Snooker Champion. He is an Arjuna Award Winner, and won a Gold Medal at the Asian Indoor Games, beating the former world billiards champion. He was the Bronze medalist at the WBL Billiards (Long up) Championship, and reached the quarter-finals of the IBSF World Billiards Championship.
In a sport that requires such focus and determination, we are sure that Mr. Kothari will inspire all present at RGMUN 2018.
